    Brilliant pictures.
    The tall structure is an 'anemometer'. They're constructed by the energy companies to measure wind speed before going ahead and building their turbines.

      Thanks Glebe blog, and thanks for the info. That's one of my favourite photos from this lot. It was pretty wild up there. I loved it and Sarah did too. Sorry you had to do all the hard bumpy driving.... but hey, it was fun.

      Hi Gordon. Thanks. Yes, I think he's had a big influence to be honest. I think us girls were given an old camera to have as our own at an early age and taking snapshots was always fun. I think he may have got it from his Dad too.

    You do have a real natural talent for capturing brilliant shots Marie, and your cover drawings are very creative and have a message if one cares to look carefully. It's not half obvious that your Dad is so proud of you girls!
